Dr Melijah Maghanoy

Dr Melijah Maghanoy has a passion for helping others and a wealth of experience in allied health. She has consulted in private practice for over 20 years, both in Australia and overseas, after graduating in 2002, with distinction, from RMIT Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) / Bachelor of Osteopathic Science. Over this time she has continued professional development, diversified her osteopathic approach and studied to become a Health Coach and Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher. With this knowledge she combines Osteopathic principles, Iyengar Yoga philosophy and lifestyle medicine practices to offer her patients an integrative approach to health care.

Melijah’s strengths are in her ability to see a diverse range of patients from newborns and children through to the elderly, with conditions such as acute sporting injuries, chronic pain conditions, lower back pain, joint paint, postural complaints, pregnancy related pain and various paediatric conditions. She draws upon and integrates a broad range of techniques tailored to each individuals needs and treatment response.

Osteopathic consultations include an in depth case history, assessment, treatment, advice and education. Private health fund and GP chronic condition management plan (GPCCMP) Medicare rebates accepted. Not currently accepting Workcover or TAC.

Also a musician and lover of the ocean, when not working Melijah’s other passions include yoga, surfing, open water swimming, watching the sun rise, and most of all spending time with her two children.
